Q-Switch
Q-Switch Laser emits short bursts of highly concentrated light energy to break down pigment — treating freckles, melasma, acne marks and tattoos while stimulating collagen for brighter, rosier, more radiant skin.

What Is Q-Switch Laser?
Q-Switch Laser works by emitting highly concentrated, high-density light waves in very short pulses, producing two types of laser beam. The first is a 532 nm wavelength that destroys pigment in the superficial skin layers; it is readily absorbed by melanin and haemoglobin, making it ideal for reducing red marks, red birthmarks, red freckles and melasma. The second beam has a 1,064 nm wavelength targeting pigment in the deeper skin layers, suited to black and blue pigment — which is why it is popular for treating deep freckles, scars and tattoos without damaging the skin's surface. Used together, the two wavelengths deliver enough power to transform skin tone across the whole face, leaving skin brighter with a rosy glow and smoother texture. Combined with a new pulse-delivery technique that spreads energy evenly across the skin, treatment is painless with no side effects afterwards.
What Can Q-Switch Laser Treat?
- Sun-induced and deep freckles
- Deep, superficial and treatment-resistant melasma
- Tattoo removal, plus dark birthmarks, brown birthmarks and nevus of Ota
- Post-acne dark marks, scars and redness
- Rejuvenation — stimulates collagen to restore bright, radiant, youthful-looking skin, outperforming standard IPL
- Softens fine lines for smoother skin and tighter pores
- Can even restore a pink tone to the lips or nipples
Who Can Have It?
Anyone can have the treatment, except those with actively inflamed acne, as in some cases the inflammation can multiply and worsen.
What It Feels Like
Some people may feel mild stinging and heat, but numbing cream can be applied before the laser session to reduce discomfort.

Skin Care After Q-Switch Treatment
After a Q-Switch facial rejuvenation session you can return to work and daily life immediately. We recommend avoiding strong sunlight for around 1-2 weeks and protecting your skin with sunscreen of SPF 30 PA+ or higher, which shields against sun and pollution all day, for the best post-treatment results.
How Often Should You Have It?
Sessions every 2-3 weeks are recommended in the initial phase for excellent visible results. Once your skin has improved, a monthly session is sufficient.
Safety
Certified by food and drug authorities worldwide, including the US FDA, Europe's CE, Korea's KFDA and the Thai FDA.
Side Effects
Some patients feel a warm, stinging sensation on the skin for around 30-60 minutes after treatment. With scab-forming (carbon-peel style) settings, tiny scabs may remain for 1-2 weeks before gradually flaking away.
